Baneblade was pretty good. And I always recommend the first 3 Heresy novels. I also read a book once about Armageddon, it followed a BT dread around. Abnett is probably the Black Library's most respected author, and while I wouldn't say he ranks up with authors I like outside of Games Workshop, I can see why he is liked and the books are definitely the best Games Workshop fiction I have read.
