It's very similar in that the Ad Mech are on a mission (with lots of their own little secret motives, etc), escorted by a big IG force. The Rouge trader is a good read especially the second novel!

I didn't much enjoy wrath of iron but I'm not a iron hands fan.

Have not read Gothic War. Is it Gordon Rennie? If yes then read, it sounds like it might be the execution hour + shadow point compilation.


The Henry Zou book seemed to me like it was trying to force in what the setting should be, instead of being about the characters. I actually tossed it more or less right away.

The reactions I have seen to the Salamanders novels are at best that they are moderately good, and then they get more negative in rough correlation to how good the reader in question is. I have not read the Salamanders novels because Nick Kymes writing in Sabbat Worlds was awful.


Relentless was pretty entertaining.
