Over the last five or so years the White Knight's Miniature Imperium has been building a comprehensive range of Empire Dwarves for classic Role-Play and Old School gamers. This huge range has been only available in a very small way, through personal contact with White Knight's blog.

Now, The Assault Group, a historical wargames manufacturer with over a decade of experience, hope to bring these fantastic 28mm sized multi-part metal miniatures to as wide an audience as possible, through Kickstarter.

Initially we have 17 new packs of Dwarf Empire multi-part minis to release through crowd-funding, These are dismounted knight versions of all the mounted knightly orders that White Knight already produces.

But this is not all, if we can Fund, and hit our 1st Stretch Goal (£500) then we will be able re-release the whole White Knight Dwarf Empire range to Kickstarter Backers at these special discounted prices.

Stretch Goal One achieved

Morning All,

Great News this morning is that the first Stretch Goal has been achieved.

At this £500 level, we will be able to remould all the minis for the current Dwarf Empire Range and make them available to Kickstarter Backers at the prices shown on the KS rewards.

The full range, with many of the packs fully pictured, can be seen here on the TAG site. There are literally 100's of variant minis to be made up from this range so no two Unit need look the same.

So please, keep Backing the Project, and Sharing this Updates, and we'll keep pushing towards more Stretch Goals.

Size Comparison picture

I've been asked a couple of times for a size comparison picture so you can see these miniatures along side other Old School type minis.

This shot comes for the WK blog and shows the Dwarf infantry along side an old Marauder miniatures equivalent. Just to give an idea of where we are style and size wise.

I'll be back in the morning with a steel ruler for some more pictures, but until then i hope this helps.

Firstly thank you to all the new people that pledged in the last two days, its great to have you as Backers, and you've pushed the Project on nicely to just over £2K. 8)

So on to the Stretch Goals...

Well you busted the Second Goal completely out of the water yesterday so I'm very pleased to announce that all Pledges will now have DOUBLE FREEBIES!

Thats one extra mini for every £20 Pledged, and don't forget that you can choose any of the Dwarf Freebies shown on the Campaign page... OR... any of the 80+ minis shown here on the main TAG site... OR... just swap them for more basic minis from the Dwarf Empire range... the choice is yours...

The next Stretch Goal will be at £3000. When we can get that far, I'll give every Backer at the £8 or over level, a FREE Exclusive Kickstarter mini... more of which later...

As promised, and as you crashed through my £3000 Stretch Goal with ease...

TAG will sculpt and produce, for free, a brand-new Limited Edition Kickstarter Exclusive Dwarf miniature, to give away to to every Backer that has Pledged at £8 level or higher.

This new miniature will be a genuine Kickstarter Exclusive, and limited to to the number of Backers Pledging Funds to this Kickstarter only, which looks like it might be between 40 and 60 castings. After, the mould will be destroyed, and the mini will never appear in TAG range, or anywhere else, EVER AGAIN!

What will the mini be? Well lets just say he's... 'Mr Festive'... and hopefully he'll be making a appearance here for me, and millions of other children worldwide this week...

And the next Stretch Goal, well at £4000, I'll make that Triple FREEBIES, one for every £13.50 ish Pledged... So please, up those Pledges, tell your Friends, Like&Share the announcements, and lets get this little project pushed as far as possible in the week or so left.

Thank you for that Ladies and Gentlemen, this afternoon we burst through the £5000 Fund Level and opened Quadruple Freebies!!!

Quadruple Freebies is 4 Freebie miniatures for every £39.50 Pledged, or 1 for every £10 (ish).

You'll be free to choose which one of those shown on the Campaign page, or you could choose from any on the TAG Freebie List, or you could exchange them for more minis for the Dwarf Empire range.

And dare I suggest a £6000 Stretch Goal?

Foot Knights all scanned.

Finally, what for most is probably the most keenly awaited Update of this or any Kickstarter, the first pictures of the actual products, and so with no more mucking-about here are the scan images of all the Dwarf Empire Foot Knight parts Funded by this Kickstarter.

Initially we had hoped to have only one Command Group for all the Foot Knights we have planned, but after further, long and hard discussions, between White Knight and myself, we have decided that I was plainly wrong and foolish to put all the parts in one pack, and we would be much better off have one for each of the Knightly Orders as White Knight suggested.

Wow, thanks to pretty much one top level Backer we shot though the £6000 Fund level and you will all get another FREE LIMITED EDITION KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE MINIATURE.

We'll add these to EVERYONE'S Rewards at the £8 Level and above, so that's now at least two FREE limited edition exclusive miniature dwarves for everyone backing Project above £1.

And these will be genuine Limited Editions, as it looks from the projects that we will have less than 90 backers so only that number will be made, and these mould will be destroyed once the casting is complete.

... for £7000? Well talk about Glass-sealing, but I hadn't even planned to get above the £5K Fund Level, so I'm lost as to what to do for the next Stretch Goal, I cant just keep throwing free minis at you can I? Can I?

Right, I'm off the rouse a sculptor and get this new Dwarf made quickly... We mustn't slow down delivery because of this one little addition...
