We are doing 1000pts and this is my first ever army

My friends who are new are going to be playing space marine, ork, and grey knight

My friends who are more experianced than me will be playing CSM, space marine, and eldar

Here is my army list, im open to any and all critisism, please help me out. I wanna know how decent this will do against the different races, any special tactics i can use, any input at all will help out.

I would recommend replacing the Sonic Blasters with another blastmaster, 2 blastmasters in a Havoc Launcher Rhino is a great way of clearing crowds. If you do this, also think about removing the Doom Siren from the sergant.
The problem with the squad of Noise Marines is that it does not have a focus as of now, either go heavy on Blast Master, or go heavy on Sonic Blasters, or give them Close Combat Weapons and a Doom Siren for close up debauchery.

All those bikers are a bit too much for a lord escort in my opinion, 3-5 is often enough to get the lord into close combat, so I would split them into two squads so that you have multiple threats, preferably with some sort of Special Weapon like a couple of meltas in each squad.

Blast Masters will wreck Marines and Eldar, which is nice, and orks, well, theres a lot of them, so the burning brand, the havoc launcher and the blast masters are good.
Your biggest problem will probably be the GKs since you dont have that much AP2 and the Eldar, because Eldar are ridiculous

And yeah its alot of bikers but I get more bang for the buck if theirs alot of them with my icon of excess giving them FnP, and it also gives my T5 3+ chaos lord a 5++ on top of all that.

What units in chaos are the best for taking on heavy armour like grey knight termmies? Running the icon on the bikers is a good idea... And when you run an icon in a CSM unit- the idea is to have as many bodies as possible to get the most use out of it (and protect it)- you've got the right idea with the big bike unit. The less bodies in the unit, the less cost-effective it becomes.

Basically- I would recomend dropping some cultists, trading the term armor for a sigil and make him a mastery level 3. And throw some melta guns in the bikers.

you could also swap the term armor, drop the cultists- then keep your list exactly the same but use the Crimson Slaughter supplement. Then give your lord the Daemonheart artifact. It will give him a 2+ armor save and IWND.
