Trouble with a warbike

I'm putting together my first ork warbike (YEAH FNG!) and I'm having a little trouble gluing the front wheel on. I've tried three different wheels thinking maybe they'll fit differently for different bikez. However, that doesn't seem to be the case. So what happens is the pegs on the front of the bike don't reach the hole in the wheel, so when I glue it in, the pegs just come right out. I've tried holding them in until the glue dries, but it just doesn't seem to keep after I let go. It all just straightens back up. I can leave the wheel just between the struts and glue it to the base, but I wish I could have the whole model together. Are there any suggestions for ways to deal with this?

Included is a picture for reference in case it helps.

If youre putting the chassy together without the wheel between the struts that could be your problem.

Its a lot better to stick the wheel on one strut when the chassy is in half then connect the other half. Otherwise youre asking for trouble trying to jam the tire between them.

That is if Im remeberimg how the bike goes together right. Its been awhile.

For what it's worth, it's "chassis."

From the pic, it looks almost like a pin broke off of the inside of the hub. There's a small light grey spot that's a different color than the surrounding plastic. Much like any other plastic parts that break, there's usually a lighter shad at the break spot. To be honest, though, I've never built a warbike, so I don't know if there's tyically a longer pin there or not.

Ghidorah
