This seems like a great disruption formation to run with a lot of different army lists and factions. Torsion cannons remove d3 wounds or hull points or the arc rifle is a 2-shot haywire shot. Breachers themselves can usually handle weak backfield objective holders while the rest of the enemy army has to deal with grav kataphrons and /or Imperial Knights.

The main army is Knights (or I would imagine a typical gun line style list which could use some enemy backfield threats). With this type of firepower already in the list, the Cult forces can play the role of heavy disruption and objective denial.

Keep in mind that even if there are no objectives on the table or only bad ones (like the relic), the Tech Priest can still deep strike where ever and then the Breachers will not deviate within 6" of him. The Breachers have the larger footprint and the biggest threat to mishap.
