Color mixing question

Hey gang. I have a question to ask. I am in the proccess of mixing some colors up and I was wondering if anyone knew of a site or picture that has the color combinations I would get by mixing certain paints. Such as Red and Blue make Purple and that Red and Yellow make Orange.... Like that. Do you know where a chart such as this can be located?????????

Color mixing question

Yeah you can just use a colour wheel.

There's also Golden's website where you can pick a colour and it will tell you how to mix it from their own paint range (which might give you hints on how to mix it from other paint ranges).

http://www.goldenpaints.com/mixer

And this site which will give you the resultant from mixing different proportions of certain colours....

http://trycolors.com/

Color mixing question

Unfortunately it's going to take a bit of experimentation. Different companies use different pigments and those pigments can sometimes interact in different ways. I worked for years in a paint store and our lamp black was known to have a very very slight blue tinge to it that you would never notice unless mixed in the proper portion with yellow oxide. Because then it made greens.

Other brands of pigments had different effects. I don't know if the GW range has any thing like that.
