Cyberwolves are part of meeting the mandatory detachment requirements(elite iron priests). I can make a change to the cyber wolves at 15 point increments, thunderwolves not so much considering the base requirements. Centralization of wounds. A d weapon kills a thunder wolf the same as it kills a cyber wolf, rather just lose the cyber wolf. Board presence. Cyber wolves are great for filling up space, enabling multi-charges, placement shenanigans, etc. When it comes to survivability it is only going from a 3+ to a 4+. With most things either being 5 or ap 3 or better it is not really noticeable.

For example 1 Wolf guard battle leader (TW, RA, TH, SH), 2 Iron priests ( each with 2 Cyber wolves) and then 3 TWC.
