I found myself in the possession of roughly 40 Rangers, 40 Vangaurd, 2 Onagers, 2 Dominus Tech Priests (2 Start Collecting Boxes, 2 Regular Skitarrii boxes, and some expert use of Wargames Factory shock trooper Torsos). As I have not played too many games with them I am not sure about how great they are in massed quantities. I have used vanguard before with Militarum Tempestus in Taurox primes with great success, but not much with rangers and in any significant quantities.

How would an army with 2 Dominus Maniples and a boat load of Skitariii fair? I was thinking of spreading around arc riffles on the vanguard and arquebuses on the rangers. Then use the Rangers to hold the back field while the vanguard and the Dominus push forward with the Onagers.

Would Adding a knight be a good idea (I actually have one)? Would I be better served to get more things like Onagers and Infiltrators? That does sound tasty but i've never been a huge fan of the drop pod steal. I don't really like the fact that I stole Taurox Primes to use them with but in their defense its an amazing vehicle that sees very little table time.
