Did the Space Wolves win against the World Eaters that one time?

I've read in the Warhammer 40K wiki that the World Eaters fought the Space Wolves before the Heresy, and the outcome of the battle was unclear. Who do you guys think won?

From what I've read the space wolves were winning. Angron focused on beating Russ instead of beating the army. Lorgar was explaining to Angron that Russ was trying to show him that his army had no unity. If I remember right Russ was on the ground with Angron standing over him. But Angron was surrounded by space wolves. The other world eaters having already been beaten.

Like Hounds said, both sides called it a victory, which shows how opposed their views are.

This. Russ was trying to show that with discipline he could cut the head off the World Eater's legion. Which is the point Lorgar was trying to make to Angron (since he thinks the same way) when they argued.

What neither of them get is that neither the World Eaters or Angron particularly care if they die. "But you'd have been killed" is an argument that holds no water whatsoever, and if Angron had really lost himself to the Nails, Russ would have been going home in a box too.

Re:Did the Space Wolves win against the World Eaters that one time?

The Novel highlighted why the Wolves have lasted 10,000 years as a legion/chapter and why the World Eaters fell apart. Individually the WE were probably better fighters, but they had little unity or loyalty. In some ways it explains much of why those who stayed loyal versus those who went to Chaos. Are you more loyal to the idea of IOM beyond just yourself or even your general.
