				<description><![CDATA[ Still tinkering with a list for a tournament. It started with me not wanting to buy very much, but as always it's migrated into me buying tonnes. Here's where I am at. <br /> <br /> Eldar <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(683);'>CAD</span>. <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> - Farseer, bike, spear<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> - Farseer, bike, spear<br /> <br /> Troops - 3x Scatter bikes<br /> Troops - 3x Scatter bikes<br /> Troops - 3x Scatter bikes<br /> Troops - 3x Scatter bikes<br /> Troops - 3x Scatter bikes<br /> <br /> Fast Attack - Crimson hunter exarch, bright lances<br /> <br /> Heavy support - Fire prism, stock<br /> Heavy support - Fire prism, stock<br /> <br /> Lord of War - Wraithknight, stock<br /> <br /> Formation - Windrider Seer council<br /> <br /> Farseer, bike, spirit stone - Warlord<br /> Farseer, bike, spear<br /> Warlocks x5, bikes. <br /> <br /> The idea is to roll a seer on each of telepathy, runes of fate and divination. The 4th will depend on what powers are pulled and the game situation. If all has gone well then probably go for a second invis. Or maybe sanctic. I don't know which powers to roll on for the council seers for the 3+ casts. Help??<br /> <br /> I contemplated dropping a squad of scatter bikes for a squad of stock bikes to put holofields on the prisms, but I think the S6 Dhaka is better for me. <br /> <br /> Overall I have 5 fast objective secured units<br /> 60 S6 shots from lasers<br /> 2 prism cannons for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span>, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span> and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>TEQ</span><br /> A knight for knightly things (hopefully invisible...)<br /> 4 S8 ap2 sky fire shots that can also smash ground armour<br /> 18 warp charge minimum 23 max. <br /> <br /> I think it's very powerful. But it's mostly theory hammer at the moment so I'd like some input good or bad before I hand over any cash. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Also: generally you will have to put two seers into either <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(381);'>RoF</span> or Telepathy. You will usually need both Fortune and Invis. Other powers are dependent on the foe. Put the Stone Fsreer from the council into <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(381);'>RoF</span>. Then the other into Telepathy. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(381);'>RoF</span> has more WC2 powers that you want than any other tree. And the WC3 power you are most likely to want to cast. One of the things that is awesome about the council is how you can adjust the powers you go for based on the enemy you face. Demons? Then banishment is useful, so Sanctic is great. Tau? Invis twice is massive to get the WK and The Council safe as they cross the board to munch (and Shriek will demolish them also!). <br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> Fearless. If your council has a bad turn and runs off the table you lose too much. Or if it winds up in an assault that goes awry. Culexus on his own can drop, nullify and kill enough to make the council check (and possibly run). You can get away without hit and run, but NOT Fearless. ]]></description>

Take a second <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(683);'>CAD</span> with him as the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>hq</span> and move two bike units over to it for legal purposes. <br /> <br /> You'll nab hit & run, perfect deepstrike (for gate), and fearless on top of it. <br /> <br /> I'm not sold on the prisms, but it's your call there.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I get the bonuses Baha gives them. But surely the inability to turbo boost and the assault phase jump loss makes it quite restrictive. I also hate the way it looks. I may play test it. I can get fearless from the shard. I'm not sold hit a run is required. And rules wise I can see the reasons for adding him in. He offers the council a huge amount of benefit for very little restriction. I just can't do it. I can't add him in. I also don't think I'd play it very well to be perfectly honest. For example, one of people biggest reasons for taking him is no scatter gate of infinity....but I don't understand why gate is important. ]]></description>

The no scatter gate is amazing for chasing fast units and taking them out with shriek. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>De</span> Archon with armour of misery for -2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>ld</span> to units within 6 is nice aswell in combo with multiple shrieks. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I didn't have enough practice with it. I also had bad luck in my first game as I needed invis and after 13 rolls I didn't get it. Also had some average matchups to help the team as we didn't have enough lists to deal with certain builds and as seer council was flexible I couldn't play the lists I wanted. I still did ok with the list but would have made changes had I had enough practice.<br /> <br /> Wraithknight helps a lot but yes they wernt allowed that year.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ 13 rolls at invis with no luck is horrible! But I guess that's always going to happen sometimes. The thing is, in games where you don't get the powers, the mobility of the all jetbike council over the one dragging an Archon, Eldrad and Baharoth can really help you survive till the end of the game. I my humble theory hammer.]]></description>
