[500] - Skitarii

Hey guys, this is my first Skitarii list and I haven't tested it yet, so I'm hoping to get some feedback.

Troops: (270 points)

x4 Skitarii Rangers (1 Arc Rifle, 3 Galvanic Rifles), +Ranger Alpha with Galvanic Rifle (80 points)

x4 Skitarii Rangers (1 Arc Rifle, 3 Galvanic Rifles), +Ranger Alpha with Galvanic Rifle (80 points)

x9 Skitarii Vanguard (9 Radium Carbines), +Vanguard Alpha with Radium Carbine and Taser Goad (110 points)

Heavy Support: (230 points)

x2 Onager Dunecrawlers (1 Onager with Cognis Heavy Stubber, Neutron Laser and another Cognis Heavy Stubber, and 1 Onager with Cognis Heavy Stubber and a Twin-linked Heavy Phosphor Blaster)

My idea is to hang back and set up a triangle formation with the Vanguards as the spearpoint, the Rangers behind them, and the Onagers providing long-range firepower from behind. I'll have the Rangers go on opposite sides of the map and set up a crossfire while the Onagers pop armor (hopefully on the first turn). My Vanguard will then focus on anti-infantry. My idea is that spammy enemies like Orks or IG will die quick to the Vanguards while the Rangers harass their flanks and take out leadership with Precision Shots. Maybe even keep armor occupied but the point will be to set up a firescreen that the enemy will have to move through in order to get at my men- assuming the Onagers don't blast them first. The Onagers, since they're so bloody slow, will only be really good for sitting on a crucial objective and popping long-range, or going to the middle of the map and establishing dominance while my big Vanguard squad racks up kills.

This is a very offensive army but not all-out like the Orks and much less risky. I don't want to lead my guys to melee and so I'll keep them at a distance (Relentless and Move Through Cover will help put distance between my men and the enemy if they get too close) and the Vanguards can kind of handle themselves in melee as long as they don't face a really dedicated enemy, I think.

What do you guys think? This is only 500 points so I couldn't do a lot, but hopefully this is good enough!
