I expect most largish cities in the Imperium will have a Sororitas presence of some sort, and many will have a good few Convents, any of which could serve as staging points for Sisters sent from other, more distant Orders.

It's worth remembering that the Adepta Sororitas is a civil body, rather than a military one, so they'd be a lot more visible than, say, Tempestus Regiments. I expect a small inner-city Priory might contain twenty Sisters under a Superior, while a larger Abbey might hold a host of, say, a hundred. There will also be mobile bases, and I doubt any trade ship or pilgirmage craft would refuse if a bunch of armed Sisters asked for passage. The same applies to trains, freight convoys and civilian flights. Other than that there are only roughly 5 to 12,000 Sisters in each of the Major Orders - and most Minor Orders are less than 100 Sisters - this is pretty true.
