This is my first show case post so be gentle .

This is the completed warbringer scout test.

I had no reference to what colours a Warbringer scout would use so I had to adapt my own version from scratch.

This is a tester model for a larger biker scout display.

That's very good. I did a full camo scout group a few years ago, and you have a much better mix of colours. The light brown looks good but will make it stand out.

Emperor's warbringers Scout test model.

That's really rather good, Camo on the cloak is excellent. The colours for the scout in general look good, muted but nice. If I may, perhaps the cables for the rifle could be a contrasting colour (though tactically speaking your choices are spot on - BRIGHT cables in a warzone = bullet magnet). Also, the little skulls on his arms could perhaps be lighter, just to give the figure some more 'pop'.

I can't make out what the basing material is but it compliments nicely. If you have some dead grass that would really accentuate the camo! The base rim - I always file mine a little with a needle file to get rid of flash and casting marks. This one looks like it could use just a few touch ups. I like the the rim colour!

Warbringers are fun - I've seen a few around here before... Hmm... Food for thought

Thank you Jihad_Ragsta And Green Army for you posts and feed back.

Green Army,

Thanks for the nice feed back.
I can see your point in regard to the lighter brown on the camo and may consider a duller brown for the next model who has the cloak.

Jihad_Ragsta,

Thanks for the great feed back and has given me a little confidence in my ability, i decided on the Warbringers as i have a lot of experience with painting WWII vehicles so tried to take that knowledge into painting the Warbringer scout. I am going to try and get some of the grass upgrades today and add them to the base, will post a pic on here once its done. The base colour is bugmans glow and found this a nice neutral colour to use for most bases. I was more focused on the model itself than the base but have taken on board you ideas and will add them to my list of things to do while completing a model. The base covering is used from Model railway ballast i had left over and its a good stony ground affect, if you add a little more PVA glue when basing it can give the affect of wet stony ground.

Thanks to you both.
Sev

Hello Sevren, in case you didn't notice I've sent you a PM.

I'm loving the camouflage on your model; never could quite figure it out. I tend to paint in more straightforward colors (high contrast). Curious on what color you used for your base and what you used for basing materials. I'm still trying to figure out how to paint shadows. The Warbringers seem to be much more of a murkier and darker scheme, so I would suggest dulling down the final product. What paints do you use? I sometimes matte down my models with Tamiya, but I'm still not sure of its compatibility with acrylic (it's supposed to be acrylic, yet I'm convinced it's partially enamel).

Great work! Looking forward to future models!
