Krylon camo range question!

Sup dakka,

So I'm currently using krylon camo range flat black and I'm wounding if any one has used the flat tan or brown colour? I'm planning on painting some plague marines and I would like to base coat in a brighter colour to make my life easier. The ideal colour would be to use white/light grey but If krylon tan works well then I will probably stick with it since I'm already a huge fan on the black. Any advice is much appreciated thanks dakka.

Cheers!

I champion the tan to anyone who will listen. It's great stuff.
That said, grey and white certainly have their strengths. Prime all over grey, hit from a 45 all around with a light dusting of white and another coat of white from directly overhead and you've just pre-shaded. Couple coats of different colored washes for different parts ( ie green over armor, brown on trim and black on weapons) and those plague Marines are table top ready for very little work. Looks great and you can always touch up to take them to the next level.

Hey Pour,

Looks like I'm picking up a can in tan and now that you have mentioned it that really sparks an idea. Maybe I should grab both the brown and the tan, prime with brown and then use the tan on a 45 degree angle for a zen shade. Thanks for the idea! Gonna look into it and try it on some junk parts before using it on my converted plague marines. I have put a ton of time into them and I haven't even got paint on them yet.

Cheers!
