				<title>[1850] - Necrons - Tourny List</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Living tomb is a tough sell, it's almost a third of your points for a particle whip and a huge volume of S:7/ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>AP</span>: - Tesla shots. An opponent who knows crons will just ignore them unless they have an abundance of heavy weapons. The size of the obelisk means it very possible to mishap, especially so if you are dropping it close to the enemy formations. If your opponent gets to place it you might as well throw those 300 points off of a cliff, because at 6" per turn it's going to be a while before it gets in range.<br /> <br /> If your in love with the models, or playing for fun, try dropping the Ob in the middle of the board, and since the monolith doesn't scatter within 12", you can put it exactly where you want it on the following turn. The problem of course is that's 3+ turns with up to half your army in reserves.<br /> <br /> I love Trazyn for denial of slay the warlord, and as long as you have a plan for moving your psuedo lych star about the board, they can be fun in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>. Going the sword and board route limits their targets (no <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 7 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>ap</span> 2 armor bane), and doesn't add as much to their toughness as you would hope.<br /> <br /> In any case good luck!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ For a tournament list you have some odd choices. For starters the canopteck harvest usually is fielded as a min formation(possibly adding to the wraiths) for maximum mobility and the ability to deal with more threats. It's one of the best formations necrons have so its kinda a must for decurion lists. <br /> <br /> I like the living tomb concept however it has some problems. As mentioned you're deep striking a huge model so mishaps can happen. Second is the monolith isn't a very points effecient choice. <br /> <br /> Really I wish necrons had better super heavies, but with things like wraithknights toting D swords and stormsuges with D missles it's just tough for a robot. I still think the obolisk may have a place in competitive lists though because it's so good vs eldar jetbikes. <br /> <br /> Trayzen isn't good, a combat overlord with lych would be better. But even better than that is another harvest. Justicar is also not a bad choice.]]></description>

				<title>[1850] - Necrons - Tourny List</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I am loving the super strong rec. legion.  The RL is one of the strongest formations in the whole of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(3);'>40k</span>.  Love the 4 strong ghost arcs.  That's a serious amount of very mobile firepower.<br /> <br /> I'd probably soupup your Overlord a little - he needs 4++ or 2+ (or both).  Not too sure about the voidreaper.  A warscythe will do the job just fine.<br /> <br /> Keep the harvest to min. amount of wraiths and remember it's only a mid-tier formation.  The three strongest are the Judicator Bn, Destroyer Cult and of course the superb RL.<br /> <br /> You're a bit light on <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.  I think you need either 7/9 scythe guard of 5/6 sword guard.Probably the latter.  Stick your overlord with them and keep your units together.  Shoot anything that comes near and when you  en charge you, counter charge it with lychguard & overlord and slaughter your enemies.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I was reading up on some conversations people had about moving the overlord into a ghost ark so that you can keep his reroll <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(293);'>rp</span>'s of 1 more mobile. Plus it can deep strike and CRUSH stuff as it falls. Did i mention the pylon is immune to melta and I believe gives and gets a cover save? I have seen an easer super heavy conversion either. So, really, youre only limited by imagination. ]]></description>

It can carry characters and warriors, so to try and get enough characters to fill it, you take a royal court (1 overlord, 3 lords, 3 crpyteks), take two <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(683);'>CAD</span> (2 overlords), and then put your overlord from the decurion in the barge to bring it to 10. It's pants on head slowed, but I suppose the look on peoples faces when the ghost arc rolls up and 4 overlords, 3 lords, and 3 crypteks come jumping out and assault  might be worth a giggle. So, really, youre only limited by imagination. </div></blockquote><br /> <br /> Your idea of Pylons are a bit outdated, D is locked to Skyfire now, still has interceptor, ITC allows for what I believe is noscatter deepstrike instead of it's old rule of moving models an inch away. It is not immune to Melta and it gives a 5+ invulnerable save within 12". <br /> <br /> @<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(280);'>OP</span><br /> <br /> I like your list; however, I recommend dropping some points and picking up Nemensor instead of the current Lord. If you can fit him in a Ghost Ark, you can let your models within 12" reroll 1s in the shooting phase which is pretty key with mass warriors blobs.]]></description>
