Best Way to Acquire Rules

I've been getting by with building an army using digital copies of the rules, but I highly doubt that I'm going to be able to get any pick-up games in by pointing at my cell phone and saying "see! I told you Cypher can shoot his pistols in a duel!"
Looking over my army(ies, I've thus far been able to create a CSM and SM/Inq army using the same models, which will allow me to have all of the fun of Infiltrating Chosen, whilst also being able to run an Inquisitorial Retinue should I feel the urge), it's going to cost me about 172 USD to buy all of the books that I need (excluding a physical copy of the rulebook), should I buy them all straight from the source, without even taking into account the fact that I'll have to replace C:CSM soon anyway.

Taking this into account, what would be the best (read: cheapest) way to buy hard copies of Codices?

Best Way to Acquire Rules

Wait, you have the official eBook or iPad versions of the codexes and people are giving you grief over it?

I'm shocked. I thought that was pretty accepted in today's world. Personally I like having a physical copy on me because the battery on my phone is awful and dies quickly, but otherwise use it for a lot.

I mean the Cypher dataslate doesn't exist in a physical format to the best of my knowledge, anyway.

Re:Best Way to Acquire Rules

Unless your simply using BattleScribe to build and verify lists, the digital versions of codexes are perfectly legit, and almost everyone I know now uses a tablet or ereader device at the tabletop. I would vastly prefer printed versions of the codexes I have, but GW's rulebooks are full of typos and rules mistakes, making them not worth the paper they're printed on. Then add the new normal of 12-24 month rules churn...

However, if you must have cheap printed copies, eBay is your only real option.

Then that is fine.

Otherwise, you can get the Dark Vengeance 7th Edition rules for ~$30 on ebay.

Codecies on your phone is fine if you can navigate it well.
