I've recently bought my first codex wich is the Skitarii one, I'm currently looking into all the possibilites in the building process and I'm new to the game, I want to play in local tournaments, I play for the win and total domination, nothing else matter to me (except heresy lol).

I've done several games at my local GW store in order to get familiar with the basic rules and I've won my first game on tuesday yay !

I did read the entire Skitarii codex, now I need to understand how the balance works. What I'm looking for with this army is a bond with the Blood Angels (Sanguinary Guard with Priest and HQ ?) and be the aggressive playe, I've imagined that I could complete it with the Inquisition (Jokaeros backing up my Onagers) and/or one Imperial Knight Crusader but I'm not yet decided.

I was thinking on playing also Cult Mechanicus for the Kataphrons and the Techpriest either as HQ or elite.

I'll get the Star Collecting! kit next month and build something from it but I've open this thread to get help from you first !

What kind of direction should I take with my skitariis ? More importantly, what space marine chapter or army would be the most appropriate to complete my skitariis ? Are transports units worth the shot since my skitariis are already very mobile ?

If you have any suggestion please let me know, also feel free to share your skitarii army list if you have one.
