				<title>[1850] - Tau - Farsight Enclaves - NOVA Trios Singles List</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hey all, this is one of the lists that I am working on for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(755);'>NOVA</span> Open Trios tournament coming up in September.  The singles matchups are at 1850 points and don't have any restrictions really, but I am just following ITC for simplicity.<br /> <br /> Farsight Enclaves <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(683);'>CAD</span>:<br /> Commander (Marko) - 2x misslepods, drone controller, target lock<br /> 3x 3 Crisis Suits, (2) plasmaguns<br /> Stormsurge, Pulse Cannon (D shotty), twin Airburst, Shield, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(658);'>EWO</span><br /> <br /> Drone Net:<br /> 4x4 Markerlights<br /> <br /> Riptide Wing:<br /> 3x 1 Riptide, Heavy Burst Cannon, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(388);'>SMS</span>, Velocity Tracker<br /> <br /> <br /> I am trying to figure out a balance between the Ion accelerator and the Burst cannon in this formation.  In my experience plasma crisis are more consistent then Ion riptides for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(652);'>TEQ</span>.. which is why i went this path to start.  I can really put wounds down field, and the Surge should handle any GMCs or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(117);'>SHVs</span> without much issue (luckily he can't be sniped himself with 8 wounds).<br /> <br /> Curious what you guys think?<br /> <br /> Thanks!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ And this is more of a question as well, does the Storm Surge provide its points back, the D shot seems odd cause of the range. What are your tactics to use it? I have put skyfire on my Burst tide but with marklights I feel my Ion tides work much better usually. I would do one unit of suits as fusion... seems to be in these tourneys you need to attack another LOW of some sort...<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span>]]></description>

I just built one. But math says that's Tau best solution to the WK problem. Being 8 wounds I can't get sniped and I have 4 possible long range D missiles coming back.<br /> <br /> As for the D shotty, I'm not sure which is best honestly. I feel like I may want to move my surge which means I can't double shot. And I think.. the shotty is better in that situation.  But again only play testing will truly show.]]></description>
