Regular Deathwatch Rules?

Well, suspensors exist in Horus Heresy now. They essentially halve the range of the weapon, but make it Assault instead of Heavy, for a points cost.

My solution to playing Deathwatch is the bringing the First Company Strikeforce formation (Sternguard, Vanguard and Terminator), Reclusiam Command Squad (for a Chaplain and Command Squad), Librarius Conclave (for the easy Librarians) and an Allied Detachment (Captain, Scouts, Venerable Dreadnought, LSS, and Stromraven). I try not to take any barebones bolters except in the Sternguard Squad, and make sure each unit has a transport option, jump pack or deep strike.
Best part is, they can be brought alongside my Primary Detachment (probably AM in this situation) and serve as a full Allied contingent.

It's a large kill team, but anything above a single Sternguard Squad would be a large kill team anyway. Just Forge the Narrative and say that you're facing an exceptionally dangerous xenos.
