I'm pretty new. This was also created out of the 6th edition codex, since I haven't bothered to buy 7th.

HQ:
Company Master: Perfidious Relic (105 points)
Librarian: no upgrades (65 points)

Troops:
10 man tac squad: meltagun, lascannon (170 points)
5 man tac squad: flamer (75 points)
Scout Squad: no upgrades (60 points)

Elites:
Dreadnought: Twin-linked lascannon, (125 points)

Fast Attack:
Ravenwing Attack Squadron: Ravenwing Attack Bike, two flamers (135 points)
Nephilim Jetfighter: no upgrades (180 points)
Assault Squad: 2x flamer, melta bombs (100 points)

Heavy Support:
Predator: twin-linked lascannon, heavy bolters (120 points)
10 man devastator squad: heavy bolter, lascannon, missile launcher, meltabombs (190 points)

Grand Total: 1333 points

Any feedback and help is appreciated. No limits on what models you pick, except for point costs obviously.

Try and give each unit a focus for what it will shoot at (e.g. devastators should usually have just one type of heavy weapon in multiple, and the predator shouldn't mix lascannons with heavy bolters)

Generally overcosted units you're using in that list:
The captain (I'd just drop him completely)
Jetfighter (its points are too high for what it does)
The assault squad (ravenwing are better in near every way)
The dreadnought

With dark angels, generally the more ravenwing units you use, the stronger your list will be. I'd recommend a few decent sized bike squads, command squads and black knights. Landspeeders and the darkshroud are also strong units.

prepare for a bonejarring experience when you read the 7th edition book because a lot of this is going to become a lot cheaper

1x10 sternguard squad, power fist sarge with bolter, 1 flamer, 1 grav cannon (285)

venerable dreadnaught, lascannon (140)

stormraven gunship, melta nose cannons, assault cannon turret, heavy bolter sponsons, locator beacon, extra armor (235)
