Cypher and an army of the Fallen

Over the past couple days, I've been toying with the idea of a themed army using Cypher and units of 3 or less marines. What I've been working with is Space Wolves and their champions of Fenris book, using elites up and making use of the 4 HQ slots i have available.
I know its going to be very difficult to pull off wins when i have maybe a dozen models on the table in a 1000 point game (wondering if this puts grey knights to shame in the small model count department), with very limited vehicles and what not.
Tactically, i was thinking of having Cypher, a Wolf Lord, and a couple Rune Priests and some Iron Priests come down in a drop pod with a homing beacon. The first turn, they stick together to benefit from Cypher's shrouded if they need it (they all have runic armor at this point) and the next turn they each break apart and do their thing. Rune priests (if i give em jump packs with room in the drop pod) will be rushing towards objectives and either shooting mind bullets or trying to summon daemons without killing themselves.
To support the initial drop pod, I'd have a couple termiemone wolves coming.in next to the pod as a 2nd wave, and for backfield have a vindicare assassin (modeled like a marine with missing armor plates, a robe, and a sniper rifle) and an ADL with quad gun manned by another lone wolf with zero upgrades.

That's basically all what im Considering for tactics. To keep with theme, again, units of 3 or less men, largely specialized.

I kinda just want to run this as a way to run an army. f insane and awesome modeling opportunities, where no model can even be misconstrued as another: the ultimate challenge for a modeler such as myself.

What are your thoughts, Dakka? With the right conditions and opportunities i feel it could do pretty well with the right general behind them.

Suggestions, comments, ideas? Send em here, thanks in advance
