Pretty chuffed with how this is turning out. The blade looks pretty good imo at arms length which is what I'm aiming for. I'm under no illusions that I'll never be a golden daemon winner. The sword will get a gloss cost after final varnishing to make it really pop.

Start off with dark purple and sponge a few areas, using lighter purple mix with the darker sponge inside the original colour but a smaller area, keep repeating making colour lighter each time. Repeat with blue then also purple/red-yellow/red-red/White.
