If all else fails, is there an automotive supplies place near you that will mix custom sprays? That's what I thought too, however the Dragon Red is a lot brighter when compared to Khorne Red, just take a look at my spray on Smaug's wings, Dragon Red on the left, Khorne Red on the right:

I got some pics in the gallery but they are taken in strong light, however the picture below is the closest to how they end up looking in your eyes on the tabletop.

All mess-ups i covered with Khorne red, so with the darktone wash (and carroburg crimson which i also used on some models) you get a pretty deep, dark tone that is very fitting for khorne. I am planning on using the same method on a Khornate Demon army eventually.

Actually the bottom legs are how they look after being dusted with weathering powder. The miniatures have no highlights whatsoever on the armor and have just been spray painted (and detailed) and then literally drowned in the quick shade by dipping them in it. I have a small guide about how i painted them here .

Another method you might want to consider is the same base spray but then washing quite heavily with Agrax Earth and Reikland Flesh Shade or a mixture of those two. Turned out very Khorny in colour that too, the red being a bit brownish. I actually happened upon this last night while painting some BFG Chaos cruisers.
