I cheated. I used an airbrush. Vallejo white primer. I thinned out GW Averland Sunset and with airbrush medium and applied one coat. Then I did about 3 coats of the GW yellow glaze Lamenter's Yellow with a brush. The glaze went on very last and went over the highlighting. I use the purple wash for all the cracks and crevices.
