no need for rare earth strength when regular magnets will work fine and seem to adhere better with superglue (in my experience). Rare earth magnets are so strong they fight against bonds you create and you actually want *some* give on the surface you're storing your minis on so you can get them off again easily.

2. Take a metal file or something and scratch up the surface of the magnet that you are gluing (and the surface you are gluing it to).
