Loyalist Thousand Sons in 40k - The Librarius Conclave + ?

With the recent release of the Thousand Sons kits, Astartes Psychic powers and hints of their Horus Heresy book on the horizon I'm thinking of bringing my Pre-Heresy Thousand Sons out of storage.
A few years ago I played a Pre-Heresy Thousand Sons army using the Grey Knight codex but I haven't touched them since the codex was re-released, hoping to wait for a more interesting Chaos Codex or Tzzentch Daemonkin.

With neither in sight I thought I'd consider a loyalist force, the main focus of my army is to have a Librarian in each squad using an allied Libraius Conclave. When I had psyker henchmen throwing out psychic buffs it really made the Grey Knights feel like a Thousands Sons force, I hope to capture that level of psychic fun and gameplay variety with Librarians leading the squads.

Because the formation can be allied to any Imperial army it does give me some choices...
I could go with Grey Knights for a very psyker heavy army but it would be a very small force with the units costing around 270-320pts and that's without transports. The army is unable to take any non-transport space marine vehicles and Grey Knight Dreads are just not worth the cost nowadays.
Though this can be worked around with a tank or dread formation (suggestions?) or I could focus on a purely footslogger build thou not sure how effect such an army would be without psybolts?

Space Marines seem the logical choice as I can take Forgeworld Heresy vehicles, but I'm unsure what loadout would really work for this kind of army? I did consider pairing the librarians with Sternguard for a very flexible unit combo but again I'm unsure how effect such a force would be?

Anyway I'm eager to hear any thoughts and ideas anyone can offer?

Loyalist Thousand Sons in 40k - The Librarius Conclave + ?

Hmm, I think if you put 9 man squads with a Librarian in a Rhino that would work, though I'd run the First Company formation (with three Sternguard) for that so you could still take two special weapons per squad, and there's no discernable "sergeant" with different abilities, so it just looks like 9 guys and their Librarian sergeant.

Also, the Special Ammunition sternguard get could reflect the Inferno Bolts of the Thousand Sons, which, if I recall correctly, aren't just a post-heresy thing.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
If you wanted you could run them alongside the Land Raider formation as well, so three squads (9 men plus Librarian) in three Land Raiders, and have a go on Technomancy so you could make them AV15 for the lulz, or whathaveyou.
