I am a 40 ish bloke from blighty exploring the mid-life crisis opportunities to found in returning to the one obsession of my youth which in contrast to getting high and chasing skirt I somehow abandoned on the approach to maturity and impending mortality, that obsession being "the hobby". In my youth, some 25 years ago now, I collected and painted warhammer fantasy and 40k but didn't game much due to my friend's failure to acquire the interest. Now I am back and with it I have gone a bit mental as I have the used the return as an excuse to switch into a new business. Or was it that I started the new business as a excuse to get back into the hobby? I can't remember. Anyway so now I have a little sideline reselling minis and books related to wargaming on ebay (anyone who wants to see what I got at the mo can search "zenspiderz" in ebay) with the view to growing the biz until I can get a bricks 'n' mortar LGS with wargaming tables and my own website. Now again I pinch my own stock for painting up and calling my own .

My return more or less coincided with the brutal murder of WHFB that is Age of Sigmar. Once the horror at the gore drenched debacle receded my spidey senses for a biz op started tingling... "In disaster lies opportunity" as the chinese say. There must be some significant number of gamers out there both new and old who would really like a better WHFB rather than dumb AoS. In addition to wargame retailing I could get into the authoring and publishing side of things.

So here I am at Dakka and having already contributed some nice posts on a thread on the subject of a 40k rewrite I thought it high time that I introduced myself here.
