				<title>[1000] - Daemons - Help with my Half of a Doubles List</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I'm going to my first doubles tournament in a few months as well as my first tournament since starting Daemons. I wanted to make a fluffy Tzeench list that still was able to support my partner (who is going blob guard). I have other daemon models at my disposal, but not too much more that would work in this list. <br /> <br /> <br /> <b><u>Daemons <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(683);'>CAD</span></b></u><br /> <b><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span></b><br /> Lord of Change - <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> 3, 2 Greater Rewards, Warlord - 295 Points<br /> Herald of Tzeench - ML2, Loci of Conjuration - 95 Points<br /> Herald of Tzeench - ML2, Loci of Conjuration - 95 Points<br /> <br /> <b>Troops</b><br /> Pink Horrors - 11 Horrors - 99 points<br /> Pink Horrors - 11 Horrors - 99 points<br /> <br /> <b>Heavy Support</b><br /> Daemon Prince - ML2, Greater Reward, Lesser Reward, Wings, Impossible Robe - 315 Points<br /> <br /> The idea is to have the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> swooping and Shrieking while Horror squads with the Heralds hold positions and clear the path for the guard. The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(235);'>LoC</span> would be supporting one of the two horror squads.<br /> <br /> I don't think I quite have the hang of this list yet. The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(235);'>LoC</span>, while powerful, feels a little out of place. The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(262);'>DP</span> taking up that many points also kinda worries me I'm fielding him basically the same way I would in my Infernal Tetrad list (minus a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> and a reward), but in this situation, I don't know if he's going to be worth his high point cost<br /> <br /> I would appreciate any other information and ideas on making this list work as well as any tips some more senior Daemon Players have for me.<br /> <br /> Thanks!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Personally I think you are wasting a lot of points on the Daemon prince here. Daemon princes aren't all that great in the daemons codex. I'm not sure you really need the heralds either, or at very least you don't need both of them.<br /> <br /> I would start with fateweaver and your two squads of horrors. That's 498 points.<br /> <br /> You can add a fully loaded lord of change for 330 points with the following:<br /> ML3, Greater reward x2, Lesser reward x1, Impossible Robe<br /> <br /> I'm not sure how you got the cost for your lord of change, because I think you're paying to much for the upgrades you have listed.<br /> <br /> On the lord, the lesser reward is to swap out for a staff. This will give him a guaranteed +2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span>, which will instant death <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQ</span> to ignore <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(265);'>FNP</span> and finish off special characters quickly. As a bonus, it makes him much more killy against vehicles. To be honest, I don't know if he really needs ML3, so if you need a few points you can get them here.<br /> <br /> If you decide not to get a lord of change, a screamer star is probably best with a herald on a disc and grimoire. Assuming you stick with the lord you have 172 points left, which you could use to add more horrors, or a burning chariot, or some screamers.<br /> <br /> Also keep in mind that the Paradox artefact is actually really good for ensuring that powers go off as planned, and for efficiency of warp charges. You could load out the lord with paradox instead, and give him grimoire. If you go this route he's no longer your beat stick, so I'd just swoop around casting with him. Then you could use the remaining points for a group of 6 or 7 screamers to still give you a distraction in their back field, and something to contest objectives.<br /> <br /> As a quick example, if you want to cast a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(195);'>WC</span> 1 power with paradox, you only need once dice and the power is guaranteed to manifest. For <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(195);'>WC</span> 2, 3 dice will guarantee the power. For <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(195);'>WC</span> 3, only 5 dice will guarantee the power. If you want to summon in more daemons, this is the way to do it efficiently.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Hrm, guess you're right. I always assumed that the restriction was for the new artefacts, and you could still roll on your exalted reward and swap it for an artefact from the rulebook, but I guess not.<br /> <br /> Probably don't need grimoire on the lord though if you're gonna keep him swooping. Maybe just keep his points down by buying ML3 and paradox only.]]></description>
