What is this thing?

So I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but it's about a strange item that I got in my Ironjaw Shaman blister. Lookie here:

It's a weird metal coloured, sticker thing. It can be peeled off, but I have no idea where it should go. Do any of you have any idea what this thing is?

I've never gotten one of these before in any 1-figure blister from GW, so the retailer probably put it in there somehow. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up!

UPCs have been around about 40 years now (I first saw them in the 70s).
It's about time.

Yeah it's an RFID tag. They've been around about 30 years, too. First saw one in a graphic novel I bought in 1988 or so.

It is not an RFID tag, those tags provide an ID that can be read (and data can be written to it).

It is an EAS soft label, which are also read by radio waves and return their status as "1" or "0" depending on if it has been de-activated at the point of sale or not.

For more on RFID, google RAIN RFID.
