Cases

So, I just wanted to ask a quick couple of questions:

How much can I fit in a Citadel Battle case?
Will I fit a landraider plus infantry and/or a dreadnought?
Does the channel foam actually serve any protection?
Is it worth getting over the original Citadel cases?

He bought flat plastic boxes from the home organization section of the hardware store and sheets of roofing flashing that he cut to fit and hot glued to the bottom of each box. Each model got a magnet on the base, and now all his oddly shaped models nestle in there together nice and secure.
