Prohibition sees the players take control of a crime family in this infamous period of american history, will you have what it takes to lead your family to the top?



Our kickstarter goes live in June, and aims to create a two player starterset containing everything required to play your own campaign games of Prohibtion



An ideal game for anyone who likes to mix roleplay with tabletop games. 3 years in development we feel that we've managed to create a game takes the best of both and makes something truely unique



In this announcement you can see the miniatures we have finished at this point, with your help we hope to finish these two families and maybe create more.

All miniatures are multipart 32mm scale resin figures, with all parts designed to be able to interchangeable to allow a range of options to create your figures.

It is October 1919. Just a few short hours ago the United States gave birth to an Empire, and it doesn't even know it.

As of this day, the Volstead Act has passed the house and Senate, and it is now the law of the land. It is now illegal for intoxicating drinks to be produced, sold or transported. The news has been met with mixed reactions. The members of the temperance movement are practically dancing in the street. Politicians are no doubt giving themselves a hearty pat on the back for securing their positions for another election cycle. Bartenders are lamenting the loss of their livelihoods, and workingmen are lamenting the loss of their drinks.

In one swift motion, the world has been turned on its ear. The great Prohibition is at hand, and the drink in your hand has become liquid gold in the marketplace. It is a good day for you in the small city of Heywood. The government has done all it could to destroy the supply of intoxicating drinks in the nation... but they neglected to do a thing about the demand.

You are new in the ranks of the mob rings of Heywood, however Prohibition has provided a great equalizer. Even a fledgling mob boss as yourself has a chance to raise in wealth, power, and glory. However, time is of the essence. Like every fertile empire with no leader, resources and profits fall to those who act. Every boss and aspiring goon in the city is already plotting out their secret distilleries and delivery services. They are calling in favors to smuggle in imported drinks. Some are already buying up property to build their hidden markets.

As you look around the room, you see a myriad of faces surrounding you. It is only a matter of time before any pretense of cooperation fades into war for the riches and power this new void has created. Will they follow you as the new master of the black markets? Will they seek to crush you to forge their own territory? Will one of them sell-out to the Feds?

On the eve of war, one thing is certain. Those who rise to the top will have fame, wealth and glory beyond their imagining. Those who fail stand to lose everything, even their very lives. You are faced with one pressing question:

This guy's Tommy gun seems a bit off. The drum magazine is very thick and the way he is holding it makes the stock look funny.


Who is doing your casting? There are some companies I won't support so it makes a difference to me.

I'll be following this. A skirmish game in this period would be fun. Some of the figures would be useful for other games too (I have Strange Aeons and they would work for it).

Casting is done by an individual in the UK, he has done are resin casting for our other ranges for the last year and the details are excellent. I shall ask his permission to say who this is as I'm not sure he would be ok with it - but rest assured this is not a big company, he has been in business for a number of years and has done work for a number of businesses so barring the kickstarter hitting the million we are confident that he can handle fulfillment of the kickstarter without any delays to our schedule however.

As for info on the game, the videos will give more detail but some brief bullet points

There are two distinct modes, campaign and tabletop

In campaign mode you will need to decide each in game 'week' how you intend to use your family members (these are the figures on the tabletop) and your employees (these are the people who run your illicit businesses and are not represented on the tabletop)

Tabletop games occur anytime there are two or more family members assigned to the same location. tabletop games will only involve the family member assigned to that location.

In any game week it is possible to have zero or lots of tabletop games, as a result the tabletop games are designed to last around 30 minutes once the board is setup.

You will also need to manage 3 distinct factions in the campaign, the public/police and authority, your relationship with all three will be dependent on actions you take in campaign mode and on the tabletop.

There is so much to the game I couldn't possibly cover it all here, I couldn't even get it all into four videos.

I can also finally show you all our Al Capone which is the kickstarter and show exclusive miniature. Unlike the other miniatures in our Prohibition range Al is a single piece miniature.

Certainly, as I mentioned previously this is not done by a big company.

Our is done by **EDIT** name removed at casters request
