Do you really want the Techmarine to be that expensive? Might not be a bad idea. I only gave him a thunder hammer cause it fits the theme. Also keep in mind that you repair on a 2+ and PotMS lets you move 12" and still fire the DCannon. Servitors don’t help a whole lot with survivability.

The are T3, 4+ guys. If there is more then one left in the squad, that makes the average toughness go down. So while you can use them as ablative meatshields, you end up having to make more saves.

Putting him on a bike will give him a 5 toughness, and the option for a jink save. As techmarines don’t normally get an invuln, this can be a big deal.

The bike will also let him keep the range open for a c-beamer, or get to wounded tanks to fix.
