- I quite like regimented type armies that present in an organised way on the table.

- I quite like themed armies that can have a back-story.

- I am highly suspicious of the imperium, although I think chaos is the greater evil.

- The army doesn’t have to be considered ‘good’ by playing standards; I will only be playing over a few beers to have some fun, so nothing serious.

None of these requirements are set in stone, just factors that I think about when looking at the various factions, so can you help?

Thanks. I love Guard but the major problem I have is that they would need me to sink a lot of time and money into them, neither of which I have in abundance at the moment unfortunately.

Farsight Enclave I haven't considered, I will have to go and have a look at them, cheers.
