Crevices can be a pain, but if you do a few light coats and examine between them you can do pretty good.

Oh, one thing to consider: Have you done any vehicles yet? My Sisters of battle army, the Sisters are in white/grey armor and the transports are black, I think it works well and allows me to spray the tanks a easy to get and match black color. I am not saying go black, but your guys and their rides don't have to be the same color, they just have to coordinate.
