				<title>[1250] - Sisters of Battle for Doubles Tourney</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ So, on the 26th, one of my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(211);'>LGS</span> is hosting a Doubles Tournament, with different scenarios for each round. The first round will be with 500 point lists, while the second round will feature 1250 point lists per player. I already know that the round 2 game will be Eternal War/Relic + Maelstrom/Deadlock, with primary points being given for getting the Relic and secondaries for achieving Tactical Objectives. <br /> <br /> One of my friends and I have already signed up, with his Imperial Guard and my Sororitas. My teammate is thinking of running something as follows: <br /> <br /> Yarrick <br /> 10 Veterans- 2 plasma guns, flamer, Sgt w. power maul, Grenadiers <br /> -Chimera <br /> 10 Veterans- 2 plasma guns, flamer, Sgt w. power maul, Grenadiers <br /> -Chimera <br /> 10 Veterans- 2 meltaguns, flamer, Sgt w. power maul, Grenadiers <br /> -Chimera <br /> Manticore <br /> Baneblade- sponson lascannons <br /> <br /> <br /> I, meanwhile, have been trying to figure out what kind of list I'll be fielding to support this "Baneblade and Friends" list. Deploy in front of their vehicles. They cant scout them (cant scout move within 12 of an enemy unit), auto passes tank shock (fearless), if they tank shock, they cant disembark or move flat out, can only snap shot on turn 1, and a handy reroll on seize. On top of that she can deal damage if left alone.<br /> <br /> Surprisingly few of them around, given the pain they can inflict on many armies.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ First of all list 2 for SOB is wildly better than list 1 but I would make a few changes<br /> <br /> 1. Turn both combi-flamers on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> to Combi-meltas on the Domis<br /> <br /> 2. Drop 4 seraphim, the melta-bomb and the inquisitor for a unit of retributors with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span><br /> <br /> 3. Tell your buddy to drop his useless, pointless, terrible, garbage powermauls so HE can take the inquisitor with 3 servo skull. Seriously he's basically throwing away 35 points that could be used to get you 12 more S5 AP4 rending shots.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ So, as an update, I recently received my team mate's list, with points values:<br /> <br /> Commissar Yarrick- 145<br /> 10 Veterans- 2 sniper rifles, 1 plasma gun, Forward Sentries- 89<br /> 10 Veterans- 3 meltaguns, Sgt. w. bolt pistol & power axe, Grenadiers- 106<br /> -Chimera- dozer blades, turret autocannon- 75<br /> 10 Veterans- 2 plasma guns, flamer, Sgt. w. power sword, Grenadiers- 110<br /> -Chimera- turret autocannon- 70<br /> 3 Sentry Guns- twin-linked heavy bolters- 45<br /> Baneblade- 2 sponson heavy bolters, 2 sponson lascannons, pintle-mounted storm bolter- 580<br /> <br /> Total: 1250<br /> <br /> Personally, I'm not a big fan of the sniper Veteran squad-- I get what he's doing with it, but by my math, he could ditch the Sentry Guns and the power weapons to turn them into another plasma-toting Grenadier squad in a Chimera. I'm unsure on the Sentry Guns, but then I can't think of much else the Guard could take at that low points cost that would be much better (other than a Sentinel or a servo-skull Inquisitor). At a higher points value, I'd certainly consider the Callidus, but I'm discovering that at 1250 I'm struggling to get the "essentials" of a Sororitas list in there.<br /> <br /> @ERJAK- I've had mixed success with Retributors, to be honest, though they aren't a bad unit. I personally prefer to keep as much of my army as mobile as possible, however. (Also, I couldn't drop 8 Seraphim from list 2, as they have a minimum squad size of 5). Out of curiosity, why the combi-meltas on the Dominions? Aren't 4 meltas in each unit enough?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I suggested retributors because that's what you had leftover points for and with only 100 points to play with, retributors are the most efficient unit in the codex<br /> <br /> I suggested dropping 4 seraphim to make it a min squad, the extra few won't offer 15 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(675);'>ppm</span> worth of benefit unfortunately.<br /> <br /> You are better off using rhinos than TLHF immos, TLMM or nothing unless you're ONLY playing blob armies. the repressors were fine. that extra squad of sisters won't be worth it.<br /> <br /> Combi-meltas are almost universally superior to combi-flamers and no 4 shots is not going to be enough in most cases. Keep in mind that even in repressors dominions will be obscenely lucky to get even a second round of shooting so for them to be worth their points whatever they shoot MUST DIE, the first time you leave a a transport or artillery piece intact due to a bad die roll you'll kick yourself for not having that 5th shot.<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span>: DR You play sisters of battle, the words 'enough melta' are HERESY.<br /> <br /> Side note, tell your friend to stop putting power weapons on sargents, they will never get to swing with them.<br /> ]]></description>
