Struggling to find a new list I care about after my Steel Host was nerfed to death.

The idea here is simple. Lots of armor, lots of shooting. Shadowsword delivers the D downrange. Mediocre and overpriced, but c'est la vie. Emp's Wrath gives me Ignore Cover Bassies or Manticore. Enginseer camps with the CCS nearby. Vets are ObSec units that can also kill tanks in a pinch, but won't last long against much. Pask and his bro are there for lots of firepower, notably the brrrrrrrrrrrrrrt-gun. Given the absurdly high price of the Shadowsword, it was hard to fit all this in. Thus far, not a lot of appealing lists to me that don't require me to buy a bunch of stuff.

It's the only way to reliably pass your ld7 orders to have tank/monster hunter or ignores cover in your basilisk and manticore. You need a vox faster on your vets if you ever want twinlinked on your artillery.

I like the emporer fist artillery company a lot.
I like the new militarum tempestus get started set for spamming respawning super vets.
I like AM get started armoured shield formation that gives your platoon squad a 4+ sv in the open and if your bubble wrap your leman Russ a 5+ save for your tank.
I love the fw armoured battle group with a coaxial vanquisher tank commander with beast hunter shells that's a small blast that with Insta death for mc and GC units.
I'm also in the camp the steel host and emperors fist armor company only requires the tank commander and not his full squad so they are cheaper formations.
