Where do I need to go to get started with 28mm Inquisimunda?

I'm a bit lost as to where I could find a rule set for what I keep hearing referred to as "Inquisimunda" Is this just something that people do when they have both rule books or is there actually a rule set for this?

That link is to an older-unsupported version. It's currently being hosted and developed at www.yaktribe.org (you may need to sign up to see what's going on; all the Inquisimunda stuff is in the Necromunda section).

Having said that, there's still stuff in the early edition col. krazy Kenny posted that's not made it into Yaktribe's verson 2 (the xenos bestiary, for example).

Where do I need to go to get started with 28mm Inquisimunda?

Personally I would just source the original Necromunda Rules and then get a hold of as many 2nd Edition Codexes for extra material. But I see Inquisimunda as a way to play Inquisitor style games (I.e no points or structure on gangs and instead focusing on playing through a narrative) with the Necromunda ruleset rather than an expansion for competitive style Necromunda (which I love too).

Also, check out www.ironsleet.com for inspiration. It's basically Blanchitsu and friends (indeed one of the contributors is JB himself).

I was on the verge of doing just that, Bottle, when I discovered Inquisimunda. Even now, I'm a little bored by its prioritising game balance over theme, but I'm in a minority on that subject.

Where do I need to go to get started with 28mm Inquisimunda?

Glad to hear it. One of my dreams is to run an Inquisimunda campaign with my brother who I still play Necromunda with whenever we have the chance (as he now lives in New Zealand). Rather than fuss over the rules and credits I would like to give him the role of the Inquisitor and just tell him to "come prepared", whatever he deems that to be, and then to throw him head first into a plot of intrigue and danger to test his gang to its limits.

Inquisitor and Inquisimunda seem great ways to really explore the narrative side of 40k. A Dan Abbnet Eisenhorn novel brought to life with the characterful rules of Necromunda/2nd Ed 40k. I see having a narrative to guide the games as much more important than working out how many credits you can start with etc (for those sort of games just play Necromunda and reskin the gangs if need be).
