1. If you're creating your own world (or even creating fiction for an already existing one) I'd go and post it up at Dakka Fiction
2. Ranking works based on the number of posts you have - once you've chosen your desired ranking system, just get out there and post on any thread; when you reach certain milestones, you get promoted!

It's worthless outside of that feeling of satisfaction you used to get when you got a star at school because you were a special snowflake

3. One can dream of such a lovely thing - I'd just use the Death Guard ones. Close enough
