Clash of the Tetons is 2 Days of awesome Horus Heresy gaming in Cheyenne Wyoming. This inaugural 30k event will be on August 20th and 21st. It will include a Horus Heresy 2000 point tournament on Saturday. This will be the main event at the Clash of the Tetons and consists of:

Ø 2000 points, Age of Darkness force organization.
Ø Allies, fortifications, and lords of war (including Primarchs!) are okay following the normal restrictions.
Ø You may not use the Questions Knights army list. However, any army may bring 0-1 Imperial Knights as a lord of war choice.
Ø Missions in this tournament will be themed to famous battles in the Horus Heresy and to the terrain on the table.
Ø Awards will be given out for Best Imperial, Best Traitor, Best Painted, Best General, Best Sport and the Ferrus Manus award (this goes to the player who had the lowest battle points because Ferrus Manus did lose his head in his first battle of the Heresy after all). There may be additional awards based on the discretion of the tournament organizers. Lastly, we will raffle off door prizes between rounds.

We will also host a narrative campaign on Sunday August, 21st. This event is designed to focus more on a set of linked narrative battles taking place during the Horus Heresy.

Ø Players will be divided into traitors and loyalists. Both sides will have a Warmaster to help guide their team and provide strategic assets. Players will then play three rounds of one on one scenarios themed to the conflict.
Ø The first game will be 2000 points, following the same restrictions as the tournament above.
Ø The second game will be 1500 points Age of Darkness force organization. Allies and fortifications but no lords of war.
Ø The third game will be 1000 points Age of Darkness force organization. Allies and fortifications but not lords of war.
Ø This set of deescalating battles will represent a grueling campaign where both sides are exhausting their available forces with only small battle worn companies deciding the fate of the sector by the last game.
Ø Awards will be given out for many different aspects of generalship, gameplay, painting, theme and team spirit. Lastly, we will be raffling off more door prizes between rounds.

The event will include heresy era themed terrain, heresy themed scenarios and “Primarch Fulgrim's Most Perfect Miniature Painting Contest.” Great prize support and grab bags!
