				<description><![CDATA[ Combined Arms Detachment<br /> <br /> Captain Centos, 90 pts<br /> <br /> 3 tactical squads, rhinos, melta gun in each squad, 10 man strong, 555 pts<br /> <br /> 1st Company Taskforce<br /> <br /> 3 vanguard veteran squads, 2 10 man, 1 9 man squad, all with power weapons, 624 pts <br /> <br /> Land Raider Spearhead <br /> <br /> 1 Godhammer pattern landraider, 2 Redeemer pattern land raiders, 730 pts<br /> <br /> Ultramarine's Chapter Tactics<br /> <br /> 1999 pts<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Captain Centos is here for a cheap and effective <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> for his special rule and free powerfist. I went cheap on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> because everything else in the list was so expensive, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(84);'>lol</span>. The tactical squads are meant to provide fire until the spearhead hits and will probably use their doctrines turn 1/2 or 2/3. Now, onto the meat of the list <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"> I got vanguards inside the land raiders instead of terminators because they have a lot more attacks when you can fit more in the transport, and they have no penalty to multi assault, so if it's a gun line I can hopefully engulf most of his army in a wall of vanguard. As for land raider choices, Centos and friends will ride in the godhammer, and the other squads will go in the redeemers. I figured those choices of raiders would be best because the redeemer is meant to be up close, which it will be, and the godhammer because this list is lacking ranged firepower, hence the lascannon raider. I chose Ultramarine tactics because then I can use the assault doctrine the turn my spearhead hits and (hopefully) break their lines in a single charge while my tacticals hold objectives, and do general troop stuff.<br /> <br /> As for this list, I was thinking of dropping some tacticals, (i.e. make them 5 man squads) and making it a demi company. However, the one <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>dev</span> squad and one assault squad wouldn't really have much place in this list besides holding objectives, of which I already have 9 ob sec units. (If i combat squad)<br /> <br /> This list's heart is the spearhead, and maybe even it's brains and lungs too, but considering how resilient 3 land raiders that ignore the damage chart are, I think they will get into combat for sure, I'm just concerned of the lack of everything else than <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>AV</span> and melee. <br /> <br /> Thoughts?]]></description>

For more fun, drop one of the 10men Squad completely, saved you 185pts, change one of the landraider Redeemer into Godhammer. Change the 9 men Vanguard into 10men, combat squad all of them. Add a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>Lvl</span> 2Librarian roll on Telepathy and sherik the enemy <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MC</span> to death ( -2 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>Ld</span> within 3units of your Vanguard) or roll on Technomancy to fish the power that can fix your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> or just make them AV15. <img src="/s/i/a/baf5f2e54c6b17d5c5d39aecadfa1272.gif" border="0"> ]]></description>
