Got a question though, with the fall of Horus, why do they still fight for the Chaos Gods???

I know it all speculation I suppose as no one know their true allegiance am I correct?

How deep does it go? Do you think they have a greater master plan which is still in motion? Eventually eradicating chaos somehow?

MY perspective: As a alpha legion lover, i believe that they fight for humanity but not for the imperium. You should read more then. Omegon probably went Loyalist with a fair chunk of the Alpha Legion, while Alpharius went Traitor to wipe out mankind. The Cabal, who convinced them to side with Horus originally, stated they lost any control they thought they had over the Alpha Legion as well.

However, if they are still "undercover" so to speak after 10,000 years is anybody's guess. Unlike the other Traitors sans Night Lords, they didn't retreat into the Eye of Terror after the Heresy and thus have less corruption to show.
