				<title>[1000] - Chaos Space Marines - ...in a few weeks Khorne Daemonkin</title>
				<description><![CDATA[           Well I guess you could call it an all comers list...does it look good?  My 1000 points list has gone through at least seven evolotions so this is my current idea...meltadeath.  Every independently moving unit has a melta weapon.  I haven't tried it out and I prob wont get a chance but this list looks fun.<br /> <br />           The sorcerer joins the terminators and they travel via deep strike.  The Raptos travel deep strike.  My rhino unit and the bikers on the flanks and the helbrutes and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> right down the center Ive got tons of other options but right now I'm waiting on some more transports, and daemons and all sorts of other stuff...<br /> <br />           So basically I came to the Dakka group mostly because of Warseer failing.  But also because I use this site to look up rumors.  I would like to know if anyone out there has run a similar list...(meltadeath).  Or if anyone has gone against these types of armies.  Does it look like a tournament winner or do you think I should come up with another list all together? 				<description><![CDATA[ I've never tried a meltadeath list, as you've called it, but I'm not sure why I'd want to.  Is your meta heavily skewed toward tank battles?<br /> <br /> I'm not sure how this list would fare, you're using a bunch of units that most Chaos players I know would consider mediocre: raptors, terminators, Helbrutes, combi meltas, a ML1 sorcerer...I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it flies against the conventional wisdom.  It needs play testing to know how it would fare.  I don't know if it would hold up on the tournament level.<br /> <br /> I personally love Helbrutes, and I wish raptors were better because I have some sweet looking ones with winged jetpacks I'd love to use more often.  Same with terminators, they look cool so I wish they worked better!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ It's quite impressive you got all of that into 1000 points, and I like an army where every unit can interact with armour and infantry alike. Obviously your strengths are having lots of units and redundancy (there's nothing you can't afford to lose). As to how well it does that's going to depend on the level it plays at, and on a game by game basis how lucky you get with reserve rolls and deepstrike scatter<br /> <br /> Good luck<br /> ]]></description>

It's still not good, but it's less bad.<br /> <br /> You'll get rolled hard by anything with more than a few models, Ork and 'Nids especially, Guard too. Tau will have a field day since you'll have no way to stop their markerlights before turn 3 (if you even survive that long) and intercepting riptides should eliminate your termies and/or raptors. Eldar will blow you off the board before your first reserve roll if they go first and get 2 turns of shooting and marines will be able to rock your face off with grav or even plasma and more re-rolls than you can shake a stick at, let alone something like skyhammer which has a not unreasonable chance to table you before you even get to move.<br /> <br /> No, if you're looking to win, a heldrake, cultists for troops, juggerlord or nugle fisticlaws biker and as many <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(100);'>MoN</span> oblits as you can fit would be the more traditional way to go unless all you ever face is steel host.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Ok so taking into account what you guys suggested I tweaked my list a bit.  Lascannons on the Brutes will give me a little extra range and I have given the army a little extra mobility with the second rhino (objective holding).  I switched out the meltaguns on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSMs</span> for plasma as I think it will make them a little stronger at 24" range.  Ive also upgraded the sorcerer to a level 2...im thinking biomancy but I have very little experience with psychers...so what craft do you recommend for the sorcerer?  Now if you look carefully you'll notice that all my units add up to six if you include the sorcerer with the termies.  This is because I'm doing an old school Slaanesh theme.  However I'm not married to the unit of six idea so if you can think of something better for the extra points let me know.  Once again if you have any suggestions I would much appreciate it.  I know a lot of you have already said obliterators, cultists and a heldrake, but right now I think the mobility of the rhinos trumps the cultists and the Helbrutes kinda outway the obliterators in the shooting phase...(twinlinked don't have to switch every other turn to missile launchers).  The Heldrake is still a possibility though maybe swap out the bikers?  What do you think?...I really appreciate the comments because I don't really have a chance to playtest the army before the game and the experience of the veterans on this website is worth gold to me...I hope this list will fare a little better now because its starting to look a lot more solid thanks to your  help.
