Have any of you tried this combination before? Should I try droping something else? I only have one Tyrannocyte. I do really want to use it as I have just finished painting it up.

I am unsure if my friend is bringing orks, dark elder, or space marines (salamanders).

But as you have one i'd throw Tfex in. Simply because it's more survivable than a Tervigon, cheaper, and is less of a priority as the Tervigon will pouring out many Gaunts a turn!

You don't need to declare what you're dropping in till deployment so you can adjust. Another thing to consider is that the pod itself can score, and is a huge model. Distraction and damage are key.
