The model has a better grasp of the sort of scale used in the DKoK troopers you'll want to use him with. Miniatures in the more typical heroic scale utilised by GW, sometimes look out of place when accompanied by DKoK troopers, which tend to be realistically scaled. The FW Tech Priest also matches the troopers in level of detail.

He also comes with a holstered laspistol and a power weapon. I'd say the power armour is subtly implied by what you can see sticking out from under his robe.
