Black Library no longer supporting .mobi format?

I bought the digital version of the new Deathwatch codex. I've bought the Inq codex and other short stories before, but always downloaded the mobi file for my Kindle. Usually works fine. Deathwatch has no .mobi file associated. I've tried three epub readers for desktop and the formatting is fethed beyond legibility. Fine, I guess it's my fault for not reading the description all the way through. But like I said, this has not been an issue before.

I have an inquiry in with BL, but was there something I missed recently about their file format and support? In the meantime, has anyone a recommendation for usable epub3 readers?

Its possible they're trying to crack down on piracy.

The easier the format is to use, the easier it is to pirate. Considering how easy it is to find stuff online right now, this may be an attempt to slow down the illegal copying.

Do not ask me where to find this stuff, I wont answer the PM's.

That, or its just GW being weird again.

Calibre works for me, but that was their older PDF's I don't have any of their "newer" stuff(didn't know they stopped the .mobi format). Have you tried using that program to convert it?

Black Library no longer supporting .mobi format?

Got an email reply this morning. They recommend Kobo or Azardi for the devices I use (which I swear are different programs than what their FAQ said two days ago). So I'll try that tonight.
I also downloaded Calibre last night. I haven't had much time to figure it out, but I think that is going to be very helpful, so thank you conker.

Black Library no longer supporting .mobi format?

Yes, they stopped using the mobi format, which pisses me the hell off. I use a Kindle Fire HD, and the only epub readers I can get on it display the book in one quarter of the screen, and I can't zoom in. On my pc, the pages at least fit the screen, but I still can't zoom in to read them clearly. And none of the epub to mobi converters I've tried work. Why does GW keep trying to make it harder for me to buy their stuff?

Black Library no longer supporting .mobi format?

Black Library have move to .epub3 format. Which is technically a superior format, however it's not particularly well supported by the current generation of ereaders.

Google Books works well on an Android tablet, which is the only one I could find to work (though my tablet is old as gak and is running a really old version of Android). Azardi is one that I've found works well on Windows.
