IG with my Tau, with the lore behind it being they are gue'vesa that were on a world captured within the hold of the Tau Empire. They were brought into the Empire under the banner of my Tau.

I have three questions regarding their use on the tabletop:
1 - How viable is it?
2 - How much potential firepower could be contained in the army?

That said, trying to keep it in theme, I'd imagine something like carapace vets for IG infantry to match Fire Warriors in terms of Tau infantry theory. Maybe some artillery units to cover things a normal Tau force wouldnt have and maybe Valks or Vendettas for transports to better match Tau warfare practice?
