				<title>[3000] - Guard/Daemons &amp; Tau</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hey all, I wrote up a list with a friend for a 3000 point doubles tournament in a couple of months. Figured that I might try something gimmicky with my list in order to attempt to counter the utter-cheese that most people bring to these events. 				<title>[3000] - Guard/Daemons &amp; Tau</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Since I'm a Tau player, I'll give my honest opinion. <br /> <br /> That Tau list is incredibly shooty, which is good. The only problem is that I don't see a lot of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> support, which is nigh imperative when playing Tau - increasing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span>, ignoring cover, seeker and destroyer missiles.<br /> <br /> The Buffmander will do well, as long as he doesn't die. The Fire Warriors should stick back if they have rifles, and fire from there. Personally I would get rid of the Hammerhead and bring a Cadre Fireblade, put him in the one of the Fire Warrior squads, and bonus from the extra shot from being stationary. <br /> <br /> The other armies I'm not as familiar with, but I'll give my opinion on them anyway. The Daemons obviously provide some much needed psychic support, along with the Wyrdvane Psykers in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(682);'>AM</span> list. Anti-tank is dealt with in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(682);'>AM</span> list as well - basilisks and manticores. If I remember correctly, wyverns are anti-air, which means you are protected from four combat points - air, tank, infantry and psychic.<br /> <br /> I guess the Lord of Change can deal with people in combat, but I don't know.<br /> <br /> The list as it is has the potential to be a practical and powerful list, under the right control. Good luck with your doubles tournament. If you need any help with Tau, just ask.]]></description>
