Have two lists for review and critique. This is using models I have, and have painted.

First list:


Elite: Command Squad

2x Veterans w/ Storm Shields, Bolt Pistols, Chainswords, Power Armor, Jump Packs, Meltabombs, Frag & Krak Grenades
1x Veterans w/ Storm Shield, Bolt Pistol, Power Fist, Power Armor, Jump Pack, Meltabomb, Frag & Krak Grenades
1x Sanguinary Novitiate w/ Narthecium, Bolt Pistol, Chainsword, Power Armor, Jump Pack, Frag & Krak Grenades (Character)
1x Company Champion w/ Power Sword, Combat Shield, Bolt Pistol, Power Armor, Jump Pack, Frag & Krak Grenades (Character)

Total Points: 195


The only question I have with this is since each model is considered a unit unto itself, does the Narthecium benefit just the Sanguinary Novitiate, or does it benefit the squad as a whole? Have to see the updated rules before I know for sure.

Second List:


Elite: Death Company

5x Marines w/ Power Armor, Jump Packs, Bolt Pistols, Chainswords, Frag & Krak Grenades
1x Marine w/ Power Armor, Jump Packs, Bolt Pistols, Power Weapon (Sword), Frag & Krak Grenades
1x Marine w/ Power Armor, Jump Packs, Bolt Gun, Power Fist, Frag & Krak Grenades

Total Points: 196


Of the two lists, I like the second one a little more based purely on the image of a roving squad of Death Company let loose on the outskirts of a battlefield, and happening across an enemy squad on a covert mission.

I do like the first list also, as the Company Champion has been tasked to go deal with a matter of importance by his Captain and the command squad he leads join him in this task. Both are cool, thematic takes on it.

Lastly, I have a third list I'm still working on that will consist of a Blood Angels tactical squad in a rhino and a small squad of scouts. The scouts have yet to be painted, however.
