Best way to deal with Eldar sub 500pts?

I was just thinking about this, after deciding to attend a Combat Patrol sized 40k event, which is heavily objective-holding based. At that point level in particular, how does anyone even begin dealing with Eldar Jet-bikes, and Warp Spiders specifically, whose mobility lets them run circles around essentially everything else in the game? Plus, at points that low, access to things like Ignores Cover are less likely, ensuring even more Jet-bike dominance.

Same goes for Kill Team really, where these very same high performing units, probably perform even more impressively.

Or if doing an assault based army, just spam fast units. Daemons are particularly good at this. Take as many MSU Screamers and Hounds as you can fit, you should be able to table the Eldar by turn 3, of at the very least keep them turboboosting to avoid assault, which means they can't kill you.

I am, of course, assuming that they table is no bigger the 4'x4'. If you are allowing Eldar to play in such a small game on anything bigger, you are asking to lose. Even with their excellent movement, a 4'x4' table should limit their options..

Or try Nids or Necrons. Nids can fit 2 Dakka Tyrants in at 500pts, plus 2 spore troops. Reserve the spores to Deep Strike, Fly the Tyrant up turn 1, obliterate 2 Scatterbike units, ignore the Spider.
For Necrons, take 2 Harvests with 3 Wraiths each. Use the Scarabs in cover to charge the Warp Spiders. Turn 1, have both Spyders add a Scarab to the same unit. Spider A moves up, adds Scarab in front of the unit, Spider B moves up, adds Scarab in front of that. Congrats, you just added 7" forward to the Scarab unit. Now move the Scarabs, which can now perform a turn 1 charge on just about anything. Turn 2 repeat this process with the second unit of Scarabs
If the Eldar try to Insta-kill the Scarbs, good, they woun't be shooting at your Spyder or Wraiths.

-

I can field Tau, Necron, Marines, Ad-Mech (both flavors), Tyranid, Sisters, and Orks, so i'm not lacking for options, only lacking for great answers. As I said, the games are going to be very objective based, so tempting as it might be to throw three Centurions w/Grav in there, thats 230-ish pts of SLOW medium range guys. And how would they even get a shot between Battle-focus, and Assault Moves?

If the Eldar player is using Scatterbikes and Spiders at 500pts, then they shouldn't have tough units. If you don't have guns that are 36", than just assault them. And don't say that can't be done, cuz I get turn 2 charges on Eldar all the time.

Drop Pod spam works really good to. Can you fit a Skyhammer at 500pts? Because that is a terrifying list for most Eldar. Devs drop and eliminate the Scaterbikes, Assault marines drop and assault the Spiders. They can't Flickerjump away from assault and there shouldn't be enough left to be a threat after they Hit & Run.

-

Best way to deal with Eldar sub 500pts?

A lot of interesting ideas here. At the moment i'm personally thinking of three options...

1. A Canoptek Harvest/Necron list: Wraiths in the formation are ultra durable for their points, and would be fast, albeit fishing for rends to actually get the job done in a lot of cases. Scarabs are a distraction, with the Spyder making more. Scarabs are getting insta-killed left and right by Warp Spiders and Bikes though, and once the unit is gone, I can't add to it any more.

2. Wulfen Murderpack: 2-3 (depending on gear) Wulfen units could be pretty killy, and potentially pretty fast. Essentially killier, but squishier, and slower on average than the above, but more actual threat vectors.

3. Something Tau: I was thinking an Optimized Stealth Cadre, which is dandy for free Ignores Cover, but then can't punch through without AP3 anyway on the vast majority of its shots... so not great. I considered an Ion Riptide with 3x Individual crisis suits for objective purposes, but no Markerlights again means bikes are jinking all over the place, and are still potentially Ob-sec

I feel like running this could work.
Big Mek
2 units of 10 gretchin
5 deff koptas with either rokkits or big shootas you'll have to take a squad of three and 2 single
1 Gorkanaut
The spiders and scatbikes have to avoid the naught since they can barely scratch the rear armor. The gretchin can go to ground on nearby objectives and the koptas can chase or objective hold. The naught should be able to kill a unit from within 36" each turn and so park him on a middle objective and laugh at feeble attempts to remove it. Of course you are relying on a bit of weight of fire but you have 3 jetbike units that can hit the eldar harder in combat than the eldar can hit back and can hold objectives. Nobody wants to shoot at gretchin who are going to ground in ruins if they can avoid it and they can't hurt the naught.
